Founded in 2005, we aim to promote surgery and its sub-specialties to our members by organising a variety of events ranging from career talks and skills sessions to peer-led lectures. We are based in Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. We tailor our events to the needs of medical students alongside organising several outreach programmes. The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 365-day helicopter emergency medical service covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. So many lives have been saved as a result of this wonderful organisation. There is no direct government funding and they rely solely on charitable donations.
