BASIC SUTURING, 22ND OCTOBER 2014
That's right! NUSS will be having a student-led suturing session next Wednesday. It's OK if you've not done it before, we've got all the materials and teaching you'd ever need.
This session allows you to practice basic suturing including simple interrupted suturing, vertical mattress suturing and simple uninterrupted suturing

Unsure of the right scrubbing technique? Do you want more practice on it for your OSCE?
NUSS will be holding a gowning and gloving session this Monday (06/10) in the CSRA at 3pm
Don't worry if you don't know your way there. One of our practical event officers, Beth will be meeting people in the med social space at 3pm

RCSEd Anatomy Workshop
Come to our first workshop of the year! Starting with an introductory talk by RCSEd's Professor of Anatomy Professor David Sinclair we'll also be having 3 practical sessions using cadaveric specimens of the head and neck, trunk and limbs.
It's FREE! and there will be a certificate for attendance validated by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (looks great on your portfolio!)
