Mentor-Mentee Programme

I was paired up with a consultant plastic surgeon in my first year as a member of the surgical society and was able to go into surgery multiple times, follow the plastic surgeons around and even take part in research. Even up to my third year I was doing things at the hospital with them, they really welcomed me into their team. Overall, the mentor-mentee scheme helped me to get a feel of the specialty and what is to come in the future!
